Radiodays Europe (RDE) got underway yesterday and is running for another 2 days in Berlin, Germany.

Radio professionals from over 50 countries are at, what is now officially, the biggest radio industry event in the world, even though it's only been going since 2010.

The main theme is 'Sharing the future of radio' and two of SCA's execs are there to share their views.

SCA's Craig Bruce, Head of Content, says:

“I'm talking about our talent development focus at Southern Cross Austereo and why I think it's so important that we continue to source and train unique performers for our business.”

Sam Cavanagh, National Executive Producer at SCA, has spent many years working with and developing one of the most successful shows to come out of the network.

Sam says he'll be “reflecting on the success of Hamish and Andy and the lessons we have learnt through working with them that we have now extended across all parts of content.”

RDE came about when organisers attended a radio conference in London where there were more speakers than participants. They noticed there were no other radio events that brought together all area's of the industry from around the world to share idea's and look at the future of radio.
