Murphy moves on from Nova Adelaide

Claire Murphy, Nova 919 Adelaide's breakfast newsreader and assistant breakfast producer, has left the station today.

Management have decided to make her current role redundant. She was offered the now casual breakfast newsreader position but Murphy declined to accept.

During her time at Nova 919 she was also breakfast co-host with Fitzy and Julian Schiller during 2009 and 2010 but was then moved back into a news role when the station changed breakfast shows.

When Murphy left the building today there were many tears from staff and they even clapped her out.

What's next for Murphy ?

"I'll put the feelers out and see what comes back. But right now I'm at the bottle-o."
