Breakfast host to warm up crowd for Adam Hills

92.9 breakfast host Lisa Fernandez recently did her very first stand-up gig at the Raw Comedy comp in Perth. Hear how she went here.

Now, Lisa is going to warm up the full house for Adam Hills when he performs in Perth this week.

Two weeks ago Lisa joked during an interview with Hills that she could support him on his tour.

“So I could come and maybe do a tight five,” Lisa said. Hills replied by saying he'd be “bang up for that”.

Now it's going to happen.

Lisa said: “I am so scared. I started comedy last year and really wanted to improve and build my skills this year. I was completely surprised to have made it to the Raw Comedy grand final, so when (Hills) came back and said I really could be his warm-up act, I didn‟t believe it. I thought he was still joking around."

“It‟s completely surreal, but I am so grateful that he's willing to give me such an amazing opportunity that could really take me to the next level in terms of building my comedy career.”

Lisa will take to the stage before Adam at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 3 and 4.
