David & Tanya to finish up on KOFM

KOFM Newcastle breakfast show, David & Tanya, are finishing up at the end of 2013 after 14 years together.

The duo announced the change this morning on their show.

Both will be on the station in new roles next year.

David has worked for the past 6 years on the KOFM Footy Call Team so will now work on their growing sports commitment.

Tanya will remain on breakfast with the station now looking for a co-host. Steve G moved from NXFM breakfast to KOFM drive at the beginning of the year, maybe they don't need to look too far.

GM Steve Smith said, "Sport has long been part of KOFM’s DNA and listeners have told us they want broader coverage, and now we have the perfect local person to grow KOFM’s Sport division. We’re looking forward to celebrating David and Tanya’s incredible journey together in the coming weeks."
