2GB's Fordham talks about 2UE's Morrison

Late last week Paul Murray spoke on 2UE about the sacking of drive host Jason Morrison.

Over on 2GB, their drive host Ben Fordham also weighed in on Morrison's departure while talking to Michael Smith.

Fordham revealed he has invited Jason to co-host an hour of his old 2GB drive show later in the year.

Well he's right. 2UE has made some dumb decisions but this takes the cake. Get rid of your strongest broadcaster! Nice one fairfax
tufnel(12:23pm 12 Nov 2013)
Have you seen the ratings? Hardly 2ue's best broadcaster.

2ue needs to be different from 2gb. Not the same.
Tyrone(21:58pm 12 Nov 2013)
Impossible for anybody to rate when that breakfast show is there. Stuart Bocking and Morrison are the two announcers who are actually good at what they do and they are being killed by a bleeding breakfast show. Bocking used to run John laws show and Morrison rated #1 on 2gb. Paul Murray is best out of the place and doing well on TV.
Graham f(21:32pm 13 Nov 2013)
Personally sad to see Jason Morrison leaving. I am just a listener and not a radio expert and I think he is good at what he does and I am annoyed he won't be doing it anymore. I hope a radio station somewhere hires him as there are very few people on radio who will say things as he does and not tow along with the rest of the media. Good luck to you and your wife with the impending arrival of your baby.
Graeme(7:19am 19 Nov 2013)
What is wrong with 2UE, Jason Morrison is the only reason I listen to 2UE, Ben what you have said is so true a credit to you for being such a gentleman for showing compassion to a fellow broadcaster , at least if he does take up your offer I will only have to listen to 2GB in the afternoon and not flick between both you guys good luck for the future Jason good things will come to you in the future .
