4BC breakfast host leaves

Mary Collier is leaving her breakfast gig at 4BC.

She has presented the show since 2011 alongside Peter Dick and more recently with Kim Mothershaw and Ian Skippen.

“My career switch from law to radio has been an incredibly fulfilling experiment but now it’s time for me to spread my wings and embrace new challenges in the media sphere,” Mary said.

“I’ve adored everything about my three years as 4BC Breakfast co-host, give or take the 3am alarm, but what I will never forget is the warmth, intelligence, humour and generosity of 4BC listeners.”

4BC GM Anthony Frangi said:

“Mary embraced her radio career with great passion and I’m sure this will continue in her future endeavours. Mary will be remembered for the rapport she had with both the Breakfast and programming teams.”

4BC will announce a replacement for Mary as part of its new line-up for 2014 soon.
