Carle exits Triple M Adelaide

Staff Writer

Ali Carle (left) has been axed from the 'Hot Breakfast' show on Triple M Adelaide; Warren Tredrea, Jon Blake, Dale Lewis and Carle.

Carle, who originally moved to Triple M as part of the 'Kim, Ali and Dzelde' show from Mix 102.3, will be replaced by current Sea FM Hobart Breakfast announcer and former Adelaide Crow Nick Gill.

Gill has only been in Hobart briefly, following a stint in Cairns, and returns to his hometown of Adelaide for 2014.

Change at the station is not unexpected; in the final ratings survey for the year, Triple M was ranked 6th position of the 6 commercial stations, with Breakfast slightly under station average and in 5th position.

Speaking to News Limited, Carle said;

"I was surprised by the timing and the fact we'd had a successful year hitting every target set for us. I'm disappointed I didn't get to say goodbye to listeners and clients because they've been a great support."

"I can't regret anything, it's all been an amazing experience. I wish the team all the best moving forward and will certainly be tuning in"

Carle's exit is not the only change to the Triple M show. Dale Lewis and Jon Blake will remain with the show full-time alongside the incoming Nick Gill (right), however Tredrea will move to a reduced role in the show.
