Staff Writer

Following the departure of Heather Stott from 4BC last week (see here), 4BC has announced that radio veteran Clare Blake will join the station to co-host afternoons with Michael Price.

Blake has 25 years of experience in radio, including many years with Austereo at B105 and Triple M Brisbane, and FM104.7 in Canberra; as well as previously having worked with 4BC. She has also presented on TEN Brisbane.

She commented;

“I adore 4BC. It’s a local radio station that’s all about Brisbane issues and the community, and it’s great to be part of the new line up. There is a great energy in the building,

“I’m thrilled to be hosting my favourite timeslot with Pricey. I’ve known him a long time and love Afternoons. It’s fun, local and you speak with great callers who ring in to take part in engaging discussions.”

4BC General Manager Anthony Frangi said the team is looking forward to Clare Blake returning to the station.

“Clare is an experienced broadcaster who knows Brisbane and its people. Her energy, personality and passion for what she does will be a great addition to Afternoons. We have no doubt that listeners will warm to her again”
