WSFM’s Jonesy hurt in motorbike accident

WSFM's Brendan 'Jonesy' Jones was involved in a small motorbike accident this weekend while riding from Port Macquarie to Sydney.

He came off his bike before it cartwheeled and crashed. He is going to stay in a Newcastle hospital for the next 24 hours.

Jonesy hasn't had a sick day in a decade but will most probably take a few days off to recover. He is said to be planning to call into the show tomorrow to tell the story of what happened.

His radio co-host Amanda Keller tweeted the picture on the right, saying "Still in hospital in a lot of pain but no serious injuries! He said to tell you he’ll be back on the air ASAP. AK x"
