MCM Media becomes Authentic Entertainment

Staff Writer

MCM Media, the owner and operator of Take 40, The Hots Hits and My Generation, is no longer.

The company has merged with digital agency Igloo and relaunched as Authenic Entertainment.

CEO John Wardley said: “After months of planning, we are delighted to reveal today that these two proud and dynamic businesses, MCM Media and Igloo, have come together to form a new single business identity – Authentic Entertainment.”

“As the name suggests, Authentic will represent an original – a unique marketing resource created with our customers and consumers needs in mind”

“We have assembled a world class team, focused on connecting brands to consumers better than anyone else. Our currency will be great ideas”

As Authentic Entertainment, the business has an array of new products under development and has introduced an Innovator Driver team.

Paul Thompson, founding CEO of (Southern Cross) Austereo, and of dmg Radio Australia (now Nova Entertainment) talks about what 'authenticity' means to him.
