Conman Dene Broadbelt strikes again

Serial con-artist, and former regional radio announcer, Dene Broadbelt has been outed again; this time as the operator of a booking and touring agency based on the NSW South Coast.

Broadbelt has a 'colourful' history, most recently as the organiser of the collapsed 'Infinity Festival' in Darwin, where he was described as a con-artist by a former employee (see here).

Today, theMusic.com.au has revealed that the Paramount Agency and Touring company which claims to be operated by a Harrison O'Connor, is actually operated by Dene Broadbelt, using an alias.

Broadbelt was identified by Paramout employee Emma Grace who recognised him from previous articles that she had read online.

Central Coast producer Curtis Turner, who had signed with Paramount for representation has told theMusic.com.au;

“(it's a) dead set joke. It’s a complete rip-off and waste of time. I had my suspicions because he’d never put his face online, or post his personal details anywhere."

Broadbelt began his career in regional radio in Western Australia, before briefly working in Dubbo and Goulburn, where he was fired for agreeing that Eagle FM would pay for some of the costs of a local music festival without seeking approval from radio station management.

Broadbelts psuedonym's now include Dene Mussillon, Dene Morgan, Harrison O'Connor along with his real name of Dene Broadbelt.
