Ray decides Port Macquarie Studios better than the Macquarie Sydney Studios?

If you didn’t catch the news this week, Ray Hadley’s Morning Show was “Smokin”, when the rack room had a meltdown taking out gear in the studio and elsewhere.

Overnight, Ray swapped Sydney's Macquarie Studios for Port Macquarie. 

This morning, Ray joined  2MC FM’s Strawny on the Brekky Show to spin the Birthday Wheel and then started preparing himself for his big morning show in Studio C.

Ray  Hadley was in Port Macquarie for a good cause.

Last night he was the MC and Auctioneer at Club Forster for the Curtis Landers Fundraiser, where a sell out crowd of 700 attended and raised approx. $250 000. That is one fantastic effort!

Curtis was seriously injured in a junior rugby league match a couple of months ago in Port Macquarie. So Ray decided that instead of racing back to Sydney after last night's event, broadcasting from the studios of 2MCFM (just north of Forster) this morning would be the best thing – and besides the studio wasn’t full of smoke.
