Changes at 2Day Confirmed. 

Mel B  has exited the 2Day FM Breakfast team. Mel B's commitments overseas have taken more and more of her time. In all reality she hasn't made that many appearances in recent weeks.

Southern Cross Austereo Sydney General Manager Jeremy Simpson:  “We can confirm Mel B will not be continuing with the breakfast show for the remainder of the year. Her contract was for an initial 6 month period. Mel remains a good friend of the show and we look forward to having her back as a guest in the near future”. 

That now leaves Jules Lund, Merrick Watts and Sophie Monk fronting the Sydney team, a plan that SCA made clear from the start.

Mel B was part of the launch of the new 2Day team after the vacuum of Kyle and Jackie O’s move to Kiis, appearing in the “Happy” campaign that kick started the marketing.
