If you have a dream, follow it and don’t give up!

We heard from Chris Rieger, next Sunday marks 21 years in radio. He has shared with us a collection of bits and pieces from his archive.

“I found my first letter of employment and thought I’d share it with you and a couple of other pictures and rejection letters from the archive!”

“From 4VL, it’s been a pretty amazing journey actually. I started with carts, reel to reels and turntables and have worked with crap computer systems (Audisk) and great ones (NexGen)”

Like a number in the business, Chris got his start in the bush making the moves up the chain.

Over the years he’s been a Production Manager (4CC), Promotions Co-Ordinator (4LM), Music Director (2GO), Program Director (105.7 The River), news reader (ARN Brisbane & Sydney) and a Creative Writer (Bay-FM & K-Rock)

“Jack of all trades, master of none!?”, Chris said.

Chris is now back on-air in Brisbane doing weekends on Magic882.

He is hoping the next 21 years will be just as exciting,
