Hot91.1 New Breakfast Team and a new On Air sound

Things seem to really be hotting up on the Sunshine Coast.

Not only is Hot91.1 launching a new breakfast team, but a  new music format and sound for the station as well.

All starting Monday.

Sam and Edmo have been pegged as the new Breakfast team for Grant Broadcasters Hot91.1

The team is made up of Sam Coward and Lynda Edmunds.

Lynda Edmunds has been part of the Hot91.1 family for the past 7 years as an announcer and news reader.

She’s joined by a local of 33 years, Sam Coward. Sam’s an international actor and director of the stage and screen.

“We’re looking forward to getting to know the listeners and just can’t wait to get started! We’ve got some exciting things planned and we can’t wait to share them with everyone,” says Edmo.

General Manager Troy Deighton says the pair have been in rehearsal for a number of weeks now and are eager to go live.

“A lot of work has been put in behind the scenes, and we’re confident our listeners are going to love them. Sam’s acting experience and quick wit is going to make for some entertaining radio, plus he’s just such a lovely guy. The guys have a great chemistry and from what we’ve heard in rehearsal, they’re going to nail it,” said Tony.
