Results from the first radio industry audience measurement survey in the Victorian region of Warrnambool in eight years have been released this morning.

The survey shows that COAST FM was number 1 most listened with a 37.7% 10 plus. Stable mate 3YB was 21.7% back at number 2 with next closest triple j  with an 7.3%. You can view the full results below.

Coast FM Breakfast leads by a mile in the market as Session Listened to Most  with 41.7% and 3YB 20.3%. A great result for the ACE stations, with each dominating their target demos with Coast FM’s reach even winning under 54’s.

Coast FM and 3YB  commissioned Xtra Research to carry out the survey, which involved over 600 respondents and was conducted 16 March  – 28 March.

“The results show just how good a commercial radio product we are providing in our listening area. They reflect the effort that goes into producing a quality service and the close relationship we have with our listeners and clients,”said 3YB and COAST FM General Manager Peter Headen.

Mark Taylor from ACE Broadcasters said: “Warrnambool is the first regional survey for 2015. Last year’s survey results in Albury, Horsham, Hamilton and Colac proved to be a great asset when approaching advertisers.”
