2CH new Breakfast beginnings

On the eve of the second survey of the year, 2CH has unveiled a new breakfast line-up to be launched at the end of the month.

Joining Trevor Sinclair from April 30 will be Indira Naidoo; anchor of ABC TV’s “National Late News” and SBS TV’s “World News Tonight”.

Group content director Rod Brice believes Trevor and Indira are the ‘right fit’ for breakfast and will reflect the vibrancy of the Harbour City.

“It’s exciting to have Indira join the Breakfast Show on Sydney’s 2CH with long time team member Trevor Sinclair.  

“Indira not only brings her incredible journalistic skills to the station, but also brings her joy of life and living in Sydney, she is part of the social fabric of Australia’s premier city and the new show will reflect that.”

Joining Sinclair and Naidoo as a special guest during the week will be legendary comedian Dave Gibson.

“I’m so looking forward to my new role with 2CH. Radio is a wonderful, intimate forum to share stories. I’m thrilled to be working alongside two radio legends in Trevor and Dave,” says Indira.

For Trevor, the feeling is mutual, “Waking up the world’s greatest city with Indira is going to be such a thrill.”

2CH’s current breakfast announcer Gareth McCray is taking a well-earned break and will be back in a new role with the broadcaster.
