Aimee Craig becomes Hit91.9’s Mornings announcer in Bendigo

Former Editor & Content Director

Hit91.9 in Bendigo will have a new Mornings announcer from Monday.

Aimee Craig is making the move to the regional Victorian town to take up the 9am to 12pm on-air shift.

Craig has been on air previously on the likes of JOY 94.9 alongside fellow Hit announcer Maddy Rowe.

Most recently, however, she was an events & partnerships promotions project manager at NOVA Entertainment in Melbourne.

She said she’s already bubbling away with ideas and can’t wait to executive them alongside the supportive Bendigo team.

“I grew up listening to Hit. I feel beyond lucky to be part of a station that champions young media makers and celebrates unique and diverse content,” she added.

SCA’s south Victorian content director, Leroy Brown, was equally enthusiastic about his new recruit.

“We are stoked to have Aimee come and join the team here at Hit Bendigo, bringing with her a fresh young sound that will complement Tim & Jess in Breakfast,” he said.

“Aimee has already won over the team with her people-first attitude, which will add so much to the team culture that already exists at SCA Bendigo.”

Craig can be heard on Hit91.9 from 9am to 12pm from Monday, September 20.
