Triple M Albany has announced its new Breakfast host as Anthony Tilli, who returns to radio after four years away.

The newly-rebranded Triple M Albany, formerly RadioWest, will launch the Anthony For Breakfast show from Monday, July 6.

Tilli returns to Southern Cross Austereo after departing for the world of real estate, and he is keen to return after previously working at RadioWest between 2013 and 2016.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited about anything in my life,” he said. “I’m so grateful for the opportunity and to be part of such an awesome company again like SCA. I look forward to getting involved in the community of Albany and surrounds.”

SCA purchased RadioWest in 2016, rebranding the 11 stations across the southern half of Western Australia as Triple M stations.

“Anthony brings so much experience and creativity to the team,” said Triple M South West group content director, Jarred O’Brien.

“We’re so thrilled he’s decided to return to what he does best – entertaining and relating to his audience, while making them smile as their day begins.”

Ray Love, who has been filling in on Breakfast, will remain at the station as cover for a variety of on-air shifts as required.
