iHeartPodcast Network remains Australia’s #1 podcast publisher

ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia remains the #1 podcast publisher in the country, holding the top two podcasts in the country on the Australian Podcast Ranker.

The Top 5 publishers in order were ARN/iHeartMedia, SCA, News Corp Australia, Audioboom and Stitcher.

Stuff You Should Know is still the most popular podcast in Australia, followed by Casefile at #2. Also in the Top 5 were Hamish & Andy (PodcastOne), From The Newsroom (News Corp) and 7am (Schwartz Media).

The highest ranked radio catch-up podcasts were The Kyle & Jackie O Show (ARN) and Kate, Tim & Marty (Nova), which land at #6 and #7 respectively.

The latest edition of the ranker, published by Triton Digital and Commercial Radio Australia, saw seven new podcasts enter.

They included Guru: The Dark Side of Enlightenment (Wondery), She’s On The Money (ARN/iHeartMedia), SCA Victoria News (SCA-Triple M), and WTF with Marc Maron Podcast (Stitcher).

Total downloads of all shows by all publishers for the month of July was 43.6 million. That was up from 40.8 million las month, and the number has grown significantly since the ranker was launched (as more publishers have been added).
