Ash Pollard will join Gawndy for SEA FM breakfast in 2018

Former Assistant Editor

101.3 SEA FM have announced their 2018 brekky lineup, with big news coming in the shape of Ash Pollard joining the network.

The Aussie media personality, known for her time on My Kitchen Rules, Dancing with the Stars and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, will join Daniel ‘Gawndy’ Gawned for Breakfast in 2018.

“What an opportunity! I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Sea FM in 2018,” she said.

“I am honoured that the team felt I was a great fit and I’m super excited to meet everyone there and explore The Central Coast. The epic radio adventure starts here!”

“I’m really excited about working with Ash Pollard next year & taking our show to the next level!” added Gawndy.

“It just goes to show the quality of radio we produce here for the likes of Ash to want to join our team! Bring on 2018!”

SCA NSW regional content director Peter Yiamarelos says that Pollard’s natural flair will be a perfect match for Gawndy’s style of radio.

“I am thrilled to have Ash join us on the Central Coast in a very competitive radio market and look forward to having her on board from January 22,” he said.

“She has a very entrepreneurial flair with a dynamic personality and together with Gawndy’s larrikin antics, this will be a show to tune in for in 2018.”

Get up with Gawndy & Ash Pollard kicks off on January 22 on 101.3 SEA FM.

Oh Jesus Christ. Why? There’s so many legitimate Annoucers out there. Why are they always forgotten for the ex reality show losers!

Totally agree with this. There are SOOOO many amazing talented announcers who would be willing to do just about anything just to get a good chance. And then hey let’s just get someone who knows Jack about radio but has been on tv.

This is so disappointing! Ash is a villain. Gawndy is such a great authentic radio talent and so was Bree. To be put with someone who only wants to be on radio to increase her hunger for fame, is a bad choice. There are so many other talented women in radio who have ‘real life’ experiences and have done the hard yards. Give them a go SCA!
