Aussie Sam Arenson named in Radio Academy’s ‘30 under 30’ in UK

Sam “Archie” Arenson has been named in Radio Academy’s ‘30 Under 30’ Class of 2021 in the UK.

Archie has been recognised in the annual list of “ones to watch” for his indication of continued excellent work in the radio industry at Fix Radio.

He is the only Australian and non-Brit named in the line up. Archie is an AFTRS graduate (2017).

“I’m incredibly proud to be representing Australia over here and to be recognised for my work after getting here the week the pandemic started in March 2020… well you can imagine it’s been a roller coaster of emotions,” said Archie.

Archie is working on Fix Radio’s program, ‘The Weekend Ramble,’ as an announcer and digital content producer.

‘The Weekend Ramble’ is co-hosted by Archie and takes a light-hearted look at the past week of news with some tunes in the mix.

Archie worked at Triple M and Hit in WA before taking his craft global to the UK in March of 2020.

Unfortunately arriving right at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, Archie turned a negative into a massive positive.

Fix Radio is a DAB station in the UK dedicated exclusively to the tens of thousands of tradespeople working on sites and homes across the UK.
