The official radio ratings for Bendigo have been released today, with Triple M Bendigo (formerly 3BO) clinching top spot in the market.

In the first survey for the region since November 2016, Triple M finished ahead of stablemates and former market leaders Hit91.9 (formerly Star FM).

Of People 10+ surveyed, 25.7% (+3.8) said they listened to Triple M most, with 21.8% (-2.5) indicating Hit91.9 was their most-preferenced station.

It was also a good result for triple j, who rose to 7.2% (1.3).

The overall results were unsurprisingly reflected in key dayparts Breakfast and Drive.

Cogho rated #1 on Breakfast for MMM ahead of Flick and Tim over on Hit.

“The team at Hit91.9 and 93.5 Triple M have played a crucial role in the success of this survey,” said SCA Victoria executive GM Rod Winner.

“Dedicated to providing listeners with the best local content and bringing the community together, we are extremely proud of what we have been able to deliver and look forward to another successful year in 2019.”

The final Xtra Insights regional survey for 2018 was taken between November 5 and November 24 and is the 81st regional survey since 2014.
