Brisbane’s new Christmas show on 97.3

97.3FM Brisbane is embracing the Christmas spirit throughout December, with the recent launch of ‘The Christmas Show,’ on weeknights from 7pm.

The show is hosted by Liam Renton and Vanessa Gibson, whose popular podcast ‘Christmas Podding’ was recently named the 3rd best Christmas Podcasts on the Planet.

The new show will promote the Christmas holiday energy in Brisbane, with nightly topics like Christmas dilemmas, best and worst Christmas gifts on offer, Christmas song requests and special guests.

Last week, the festive duo had Christmas decorating advice from Bob Pranga – also known as Dr Christmas – a regular on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, who decorates The Hilton’s family home.

The pair had already committed to doing daily Christmas podcasts from 1st-25th December, but jumped at the opportunity to turn the magic of the podcast into a nightly radio show.

“We just love talking about Christmas,” say Liam & Ness.

“We’re now busy at both ends of the day, with a new podcast released every morning and then a fresh radio show every night at 7pm on 97.3FM.”

The pair who are already fulltime with ARN Brisbane are excited by their Podcast to Broadcast experience.

“December is our favourite month. Being able to talk about all things Christmas on a number of platforms is a real joy for both of us,” said Liam & Vanessa.

“It’s nice to have local callers ring in and share their Brissy Christmas experiences with us.”
