Brisbane’s Nova welcomes Maddy Rowe to afternoons in 2022

Maddy Rowe will be packing her bags in Townsville to join Brisbane’s Nova 106.9 for afternoons from 4 January 2022.

This follows Chris ‘Buzz’ Bezzina’s move from Afternoons to his new role as anchor for Brisbane’s Number One Breakfast Show, Nova 106.9’s ‘Ash, Lutty & Susie O’Neill’.

After two years as a workday presenter at SCA Townsville, Maddy got the call up to Brisbane, but she hasn’t just been presenting for SCA. Maddy Rowe also juggles a successful side gig as a musician under the name ‘GENES.’

Maddy was listed in Radio Today’s New Talent to Watch last year. Listen to Maddy on Nova 106.9 afternoons from 4 January 2022.

Can’t believe SCA let her go. One of the biggest workday talents in the country. Good pick up for Nova.

What? Someone talented proving their worth in regional radio before moving to metro? But why? She hasn’t been on MAFS or the Bachelor or played professional rugby league.
