Married At First Sight, featuring Hit 104.7’s Bryce Ruthven, kicks off this week
Hit Network announcer Bryce Ruthven is part of this year’s Married At First Sight lineup, with the show kicking off tonight at 7:30pm on Channel 9.
Ruthven, who currently works at Hit 104.7 in Canberra, is described by the show as “super confident” and “a great talker”.
The show added: “An alpha type male who can come across as cocky, Bryce is opinionated and outspoken. A footy bloke never shy to speak his mind, other guys tend to be intimidated by him.”
Ruthven has previously used the Hit 104.7 Weekend Breakfast show Mobbs & Roses to deny his impending appearance on the show, however it has since been confirmed he is taking part.

Married At First Sight has been a ratings smash for Channel 9 in recent years. Last year’s premiere had its largest ever launch, with 1.154 million overnight metro viewers, up from 1.003 million in 2019, and significantly higher than 2018’s 912.000.
Its final episode last year had 1.478 million, down from 2019’s mammoth 1.968 million.
This year’s season has been delayed due to COVID-19 pushing back the dates for the Australian Open tennis which also screens on Channel 9.
It is unclear what impact this will have on the ratings.

God Bryce is a masojanistc, rude person. He needs to be fired as he treats women like absolute crap as well as starting fights with people and going to the point of throwing a drink. An look he was arguing to someone about treating women badly Then he’s been doing this the whole time. So with what’s going on in Canberra now Bryce needs to be fired, he’s not setting very good examples for kids.
