Cassie Walker leaves Triple M music team to take podcast role at LiSTNR

Triple M has lost its digital music lead, with Cassie Walker departing the team.

Walker has been with SCA’s Triple M for five and a half years, and will continue to host Triple M Rock News.

Walker also fronts the Essential Vinyl podcast on LiSTNR and Morning Music Feeds and Dug By Us, and said she was proud of everything she’d achieved at Triple M.

She now takes on a podcast producer role at SCA’s LiSTNR.

The digital platform has also recruited Ed Gooden to its team as a podcast producer.

Gooden was most recently a digital producer at Channel 7 as part of its Tokyo 2020 team, and co-created The Risk Equation podcast.

He’s also been a producer for Calm Ya Farm and on Football Nation Radio, and was a finalist in the Podcast Audio Producer of the Year category in the recent Radio Today Podcast Awards.

Triple M, which also recently lost its music director Jacqui Kassulke, is recruiting to replace Walker’s music role.
