Kate Langbroek’s niece Bronte joins the Hit Network

If radio runs in the family, then Bronte Langbroek is set to do a stellar with her on-air debut on Hit99.7 Riverina MIA.

Moving from her current role as promotions manager at Sea FM on the Gold Coast, Kate Langbroek’s niece will fill in on Hit99.7 while Claire Humphrey takes maternity leave.

She’ll host the Breakfast show alongside Sam McGinn.

“I am SO excited to step behind the mic for my first on-air role and to help wake up the Riverina MIA community alongside such a hilarious and talented co-host in Sam McGinn,” said Bronte.

“I’ve grown up proudly watching Kate help shape the representation of female announcers in this industry and hope that I’m able to emulate some of her strength, wit and talent… for now, I’ll settle for a similar laugh!”

As well as her time at Sea FM, Bronte has alsao worked at Nova 106.9 in Brisbane, and Gold104.3 in Melbourne.

“I truly believe we have unearthed some on-air gold with Bronte. She is such a positive vibrant person with massive potential and the most infectious laugh you will ever hear,” added Hit Riverina MIA content director Duncan Potts.

“We are all so excited about working with Bronte in this first phase of her on-air career,” he said.
