Loz & Thomo to leave Fresh 92.7 Breakfast

Former Editor & Content Director

Mark Thomas and Laura O’Callaghan will leave Adelaide’s Fresh 92.7 at the end of the month, paving the way for a new Breakfast program.

The Loz & Thomo program has been on air for three years, making it the station’s longest full-time Breakfast show with over 700 shows broadcast.

O’Callaghan said hosting the show had been a truly unique experience.

“It’s been so much fun, and we’ve loved every moment we’ve shared with the listeners. You’ve played our games with us, you’ve told us some amazing stories on air, and you’ve followed us down some deeply strange tangents,” she said.

Thomas added: “This was our first proper radio gig, and I’m sure it will go down as one of the greatest jobs we’ve ever had. It’s been an absolute ball, but the time has finally come for us to move onto a new opportunity.”

The station’s content manager, Zane Dean, said working with the duo had been nothing short of incredible.

“I never laugh more than when I’m helping produce this show, and I remain consistently impressed with their wit, chemistry, and work ethic. They have such a deep respect and dedication to Fresh, the amazing volunteers who help create the show, and the amazing community of listeners. Everyone ‘flies the nest’ of Fresh eventually, but these two will leave a truly astonishing legacy behind them,” he said.

The show will wrap up on March 26, and a new line-up will be announced soon.

Other Fresh alumni include Ben & Liam, Lehmo and Sam Mac.
