Matt & Alex launch ‘Bomb Squad’, billed as (potentially) the world’s first podcast street team

LiSTNR’s Matt & Alex All Day Breakfast is taking a leaf out of radio’s playbook, launching a street team to help promote the brand.

The competition to join the ‘Bomb Squad’ is open now, and up tp 20 winners will each win a set of four Bomb Squad decals for their car.

Co-host Alex Dyson said he was inspired by seeing branded radio station cars in the Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) carpark.

“It got me thinking – we do a show every day. It’s an audio medium. Why can’t we have our very own All Day Breakfast street team?,” Dyson said.

Matt Okine, meanwhile, noted just what a big deal it was when the Black Thunders rolled into town when the two were growing up.

The duo, however, are not so much on the look out for fancy vehicles, and are instead targeting ‘bombs’ which rack up a lot of kilometres.
