‘Talking Melbourne’ on Nova 100
There was a bit of AM-FM cross-pollination on Melbourne radio this morning when 3AW personality Denis Walter dropped in on Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam and Browny.
The Melbourne ‘icon’ has been a long-running ‘feature’ of the brekkie segment ‘In Bed With The Browns’, where Browny mused about making the switch to AM.
But Walter flipped the scenario by ‘revealing’ he was having breakfast with NOVA management about coming onboard.

I don’t get this show. For an under 40 target they talk about old people stuff all the time. Does a 24 year old female driving to work at Westfield give a fing f about some old timer from am radio? (All due respect to DW) Talk a bit more about some obscure 80’s track, she’ll be lapping that up too. Yeah they went up last survey, but this show should have been rating better sooner and should be closer to number 1.
