WIN Radio appoints Tia Davis as new i98FM station manager
WIN Radio has brought back the station manager role for i98FM, announcing that Tia Davis will take the position.
Davis, who has been a part of the i98FM team for the past 17 years, moves into the station manager role effective immediately, overseeing all operations of the longstanding Illawarra station.
Davis’ previous role with WIN Radio included overseeing marketing and integration operations for i98FM and its sister station, Campbelltown’s C91.3FM.
WIN Radio general manager Phil Giblin celebrated Davis’ appointment to the managerial roles, saying that he “could not be more confident about i98’s continued growth and success” under her leadership.
“Tia has been instrumental in the success of i98FM as a key senior member of the WIN Radio management team for many years,” Giblin said.
“Her remarkable achievements in promoting and developing the i98FM brand reflects Tia’s enormous talent, superior performance and sheer passion. She is the hardest-working member of the team and a natural leader who cares about her colleagues. For those reasons, she enjoys the unanimous respect and affection of the team.”
Davis said that she is looking forward to strengthening i98FM’s ties with the local Illawarra community, particularly after the station’s Convoy initiative was cancelled in wake of the pandemic last year.
“I am deeply passionate about delivering on our promise to the people of the Illawarra by being a part of their daily lives – ensuring we keep them entertained and informed as well as making a difference through Convoy and the many other projects we support in our wonderful community,” Davis said.
“Our team constantly delivers the best product possible to our listeners and clients both on, and off the air. I very much look forward to further supporting our talented and hard-working staff in achieving continued ratings and business success.”
