The ACE Radio Network is launching a new business unit, ACE Digital.

Headed up by GM Grant Johnstone, the unit is charged with securing and growing traditional network income.

ACE Digital will administer an internal marketing role and provide much needed digital strategy for clients looking to navigate their way through the social media landscape. The unit will also build multi-functional websites for a wide variety of Victorian clients.

“Offering digital services has already proved to be very valuable to our clients,” said ACE Radio CEO Mark Taylor. “We can see retention and growth of our traditional radio revenue, because of our ability to also provide cutting edge digital development, video, graphic design, social media marketing and SEO services.”

Grant Johnstone has considerable experience in radio as GM of TRFM and Gippsland’s 1242.Both stations enjoyed considerable growth and success throughout his tenure.

“I see this as a logical step in growing ACE Radio’s reputation as a progressive and dynamic company that offers traditional radio clients a much wider range of strategic services,” Johnstone said.

“We have an incredibly talented digital team including developers, graphic designers, video editors and content editors and it is incredibly exciting to see this team working many of our existing radio clients.”

ACE Radio will also be seeking a new general manager for their two Gippsland stations. The role will commence in July 2017.
