APRIL FOOLS: Chrissie, Sam & Browny take aim at the competition

Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny took a swipe at their competitor in an April Fool’s post on social media today.

Melbourne’s #1 FM breakfast show confirmed that anchor Dean will be added to the line-up’s marketing, including billboards.

They also announced a new name for the breaky shift. “We’re excited to announce that as of this Monday APRIL 3 our show will be called ‘Chrissie, Sam, Browny & Dean’.

“We’re excited to add Dean (formerly ‘Deano’) to the billboards, and feel he deserves it after such a strong year of playing the FOOL!”

You may recall in January Radio Today spotted a significant change to Fox FM’s breakfast branding in Melbourne.

Longtime anchor of the show, Byron Cooke, had been added to the show’s creative – now called Fifi, Dave, Fev & Byron.
