KIIS 101.1 celebrates Hughesy

Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes was a guest of honour at an event last week as over 170 KIIS team members and listeners turned out to celebrate his new comedy show Deluded playing at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Hughesy and co-host Kate Langbroek were joined by KIIS 101.1 Breakfast host Matt Tilley at a pre-party at Melbourne’s Hanks rooftop to welcome guests and thank them for their ongoing support.

Later in the evening, Hughesy performed his hilarious comedy show in its entirety at the Athenaeum Theatre.

After the show, Hughesy thanked fans by taking selfies with the crowd before co-hosting a client function at the Garden State Hotel.

It’s been a busy year for Hughesy as the presenter has been juggling on-air duties every weekday afternoon and a national comedy tour.

Deluded was launched in Perth at the beginning of the year before heading to Adelaide for the Adelaide Fringe Festival and onto Brisbane before starting his Melbourne performances.
