More changes in Canberra

Yesterday we told you how Biggzy had resigned from her breakfast gig at Mix 106.3 in Canberra to be with hubby Matty White when he starts as CD of NXFM / KOFM in Newcastle shortly.

Another couple of changes have also happened in Canberra with 666 ABC breakfast host Ross Solly recently announcing his departure and also 2CC drive jock Mike Welsh (right).

Welsh told the Canberra Times he resigned after more than a decade with the station due to an issue with management.

"I want to make it clear I don’t want to go. There’s an issue in middle-management that has been festering for 18 months and it’s still there and it hasn’t been addressed."

Welsh apparently had to go into bat for a colleague and wasn't happy with the response he received from management.

"I honestly love this job and the older I get the more I realise what a privilege it is," said Welsh.

666 ABC's Ross Solly (below) has announced he is moving to Bangkok and will finish in December.
