Craig Bruce unveils new Rising Stars podcast

Game Changers: Radio host Craig Bruce has announced a new Rising Stars season of his popular podcast in partnership with Radio Today.

The Game Changers Rising Stars series will feature the five most exciting new shows and on-air talent, as voted for by Game Changers: Radio podcast listeners and Radio Today readers.

“I’m excited about talking to the top five young guns on the radio right now,” Craig said.

In the final episode of Game Changers: Radio season four (below), Craig has revealed a list of 12 presenters and shows, who he believes are the next generation of Australian radio stars, with voting open next Monday 17 April, exclusively on Radio Today.

In choosing the 12 on-air talent, Craig said these are personalities who he believes have the most upside on Australian radio right now.

“People like Ben and Liam and Amos Gill are already doing major market breakfast shows, but there’s no question their best is yet to come,” he said.

“For presenters like Ash London, the Thinker Girls and Smallzy, they are all playing significant roles on national shows for the Hit, KIIS and Nova networks, but once again, I think they have the potential to move into key breakfast and drive shifts in the future.

“Then there’s a host of regional breakfast presenters on this list of 12 who are stars of the future and will no doubt find their way into major market shows at some point. There’s no question that Australian radio is a world leader in fostering and nurturing new talent and all of the networks do a brilliant job of finding and developing talent.
