Acast has announced a partnership with Schwartz Media to distribute its daily news show.

The 7am podcast, from the publisher of The Monthly and The Saturday Paper, is presented by award-winning investigative journalist Ruby Jones and covers news, interviews and analysis.

A new episode is published to podcast feeds every weekday to help listeners start their day.

Rebecca Costello, chief executive of Schwartz Media, said: “7am has been a huge success since launch. We have found an enormous new audience for our journalism, and we are happy to be working with Acast to expand opportunities for the podcast.”

Acast’s content director, Guy Scott-Wilson, said 7am has become a giant of Australian podcasting.

“We’re delighted to welcome this show to Acast, where it sits alongside our network of premium publishers, and to work with the team to drive further reach and monetisation opportunities…”

New episodes of 7am are released every weekday and are available on all major platforms.
