Staff Writer

Hit 104.7 is now Canberra’s top radio station, according to GfK.

The Hit Network station secured a 20.0% share of listening for People 10+.

Mix 106.3 finished Survey #1 behind Hit on 16.8%, ABC Radio on 11.2% and triple j on 10.4%.

Hit and Mix are a joint venture between Australian Radio Network and Southern Cross Austereo.

In the all-important breakfast shift, Ned & Josh have proved no match for the contemporaries in the first (and maybe last) survey for the city this year.

The duo, who won the ACRA for Best Network Program in 2017, began on-air at Hit Canberra in December that same year.

“We’ve been really lucky to have had so much fun doing the show in WA and are really excited and extremely grateful for the opportunity to head to Canberra with Hit 104.7,” said Josh on the move.

Their Hit brekkie show climbed 4.3 to 18.9%1, followed by ABC Radio on 14.8%.
