Human Nature perform at smoothfm listeners’ wedding

Two lucky smoothfm listeners had a once-in-a-lifetime experience at their wedding over the weekend.

Off the back of a competition run by smooth and Sony last year, Human Nature performed at wedding of the winners Ann and Alex.

“One of the first things I said to him [Alex] five years ago before we were together was, I’ll only be with you if you like Human Nature – I told him he had to learn to sing one of their songs before I would go out with him, and he did,” Ann explained when enterting the competition.

At the wedding, all four members of Human Nature introduced the bride and groom at the wedding reception, before performing songs including ‘Little More Love’, ‘Baby I Need Your Loving’ and ‘Love Train’.

“When I was little, my cousin and I had sleepovers and we would dream up all these scenarios and talk about what we wanted to happen to us when we were older,” said Ann.

“I said Human Nature would play at my wedding. Knowing it was probably never going to happen. So this is a dream come true.”

The happy couple is also attending Human Nature’s Wollongong show this Friday.
