Jack Laurence making a Sea change

The Hit Network’s Hughesy, Ed and Erin morning show anchor, Jack Laurence, is setting his sights on the sea as he prepares to move back to the Gold Coast’s 90.9 Sea FM.

Recently Jack accepted the role of Sea FM’s Assistant Content Director/Announcer and will begin in January 2022.

Jack has been anchoring The Hit Network’s Drive for the past four years and now 2Day’s Morning Crew with Hughesy, Ed and Erin.

“The last five years have been incredible… As sad as I’ll be to say goodbye to the Hughesy, Ed and Erin team, I’m very excited about the move back to 90.9 Sea FM, it’s the place where my career really started and where I spent many happy years learning my craft,” said Jack.

The stars aligned for Jack and his family after they had already planned to move to the Gold Coast in 2023.

“In July this year my wife and I decided that we wanted to move our family home to the Gold Coast in 2023. We miss home and want our kids to have the opportunity to grow up on the coast and enjoy everything it has to offer, so when the role became available at 90.9 Sea FM it was perfect timing.”

The Gold Coasts 90.9 Sea FM had great success in the most recent survey with Bianca, Dan & Ben taking out the top breakfast spot.

“With the recent incredible survey results for the GC team I’m really excited to jump in and help those numbers continue to climb.”
