92.5 Triple M Gold Coast host Jo Lynch leaves radio for real estate role

Staff Writer

Jo Lynch is moving on from radio after more than two decades behind the microphone.

In recent years, Lynch helmed Afternoons on Triple M Brisbane, and then made the move to a part-time role with Triple M on the Gold Coast.

She announced last month she would be leaving radio, and it has subsequently emerged she will be pursuing a full-time career in real estate, joining LJ Hooker Coolangatta.

She told New Corp and realestate.com.au the new role still allows her to be creative “which is really important”.

“Radio was great for me and my social life in my younger years. I got to see a lot of bands and go to some great parties, but I couldn’t see myself being in the industry for another 20 years,” she told Lisa Hughes.

“The decision to switch careers was purely me wanting to challenge myself and do something that I have been totally obsessed with for a long time, which was real estate.

“I have a genuine love for it and I can’t believe I didn’t embark on this years ago. I am loving the people I am meeting, the properties I am seeing, and the market we are in right now is incredible.”

The principal of the agency, Daniel Alexander, told the Tweed Valley Weekly he believes Lynch’s experience in radio will set her up for a successful career in real estate.

“We are really excited to see Jo bring her vibrant personalty, extensive network and people skills to the real estate industry,” he said.

“The activity in the Tweed Heads market has never been stronger, and with the support of the LJ Hooker network, Jo is sure to hit the ground running.”
