Julie Snook to fill in as newsreader on KIIS 1065 Breakfast during survey break

The metro radio networks and their teams are on survey break, so the Australian Radio Network (ARN) has revealed Julie Snook will present Breakfast news for a fortnight on Sydney’s KIIS 1065.

Snook will be on air from 5:00am to 8:30am from today through to July 9 while The Kyle & Jackie O Show and regular news presenter Brooklyn Ross are on break.

Snook is a regular co-host on Sky News and has worked across various Nine News products including Early Edition and Weekend Today.

ARN’s national news director, Deborah Clay, said Snook is a welcome addition to the team.

“Julie is a great talent, and I’ve enjoyed watching her incredible growth over the years as a journalist and presenter. Our news brands have a sharp focus on breaking local news – the stories Sydney listeners need to know, as well as human interest stories which cause us to pause and think about the big picture,” she said.

Snook said she is excited to be joining Clay and the news team at KIIS 1065.

“I fell in love with radio a decade ago and cannot wait to get back. Deb has been a constant support throughout my career and is a big believer in helping talent thrive. I’m looking forward to working alongside Deb again. Tune in, it’s going to be fun.”
