Ex-Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke looks set to join Sky Sports Radio Network.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Clarke will replace Terry Kennedy on the Big Sports Breakfast, in a deal to be finalised later this week.

Clarke will host the show alongside former NRL player and coach Laurie Daley, after Kennedy called time on an 18-year-stint on the show at the end of 2019.

The 38-year old former cricket has media experience, having spent several summers working for Nine’s Summer Of Cricket commentary team.

However, when Cricket Australia sold the rights for the cricket to Seven in 2018, Clarke was snubbed for the network’s new commentary team.

Clarke has since spent time as a caller for Sony and Star in India.
