Ryan Jon discovers the one day a year to get hundreds worth of freebies

Hit92.9 Breakfast host Ryan Jon has made a name for himself outside of radio with his viral online videos, gaining in excess of 200 million views for his self-produced clips.

His latest clip featured on Today Tonight, where he discovers the one day a year to get hundreds of bucks worth of freebies.

Ryan knew that plenty of retailers and food stores give away free things for birthdays, but wanted to find out how far he could push it.

“I challenged myself to not spend a cent, and I got over $500 worth of free stuff,” he said.

He went to over 30 stores across the day, with about an hour’s worth of work in preparation time to sign up for various loyalty programs.
