Sam Mac… now on Sunrise Weather

Sam Mac has got the weather gig on Seven’s Sunrise replacing Edwina Bartholomew.

From Adelaide, Sam got his big break in radio when he won the SAFM ‘Who Wants to Be a Co-Host on Air’. Later getting his own show on late nights on SAFM. From there he joined Triple M’s Wil and Lehmo on breakfast as writer, panel op and doing guest spots. He also fitted in the Hot 30 across the network with Austereo as well.

For three years Sam was in Perth on 92.9 breakfast and in 2011 made a break to move to  Sydney and pursue TV. Sam was a regular on Ten’s The Project and recently on Seven but radio was still on his agenda, doing guest spots and fill-ins with Nova. He covered Summer breakfast on all the Nova’s on the east coast over summer.

Various news sites around the country were gunning for SCA’s Emma Freedman to get the job.
