The International Native Ad Awards in Europe has awarded Mamamia’s That’s Incredible podcast the Best Use of Podcast category.

That’s Incredible is a Subaru-branded podcast series designed for parents to listen to with their kids, particularly on weekend drives. Each podcast aims to inform and inspire, with episodes covering topics including the human body, space, music and Australia.

The series also won Best Branded Podcast at the Australian Podcast Awards.

The podcast was developed in partnership with media agency Starcom in Sydney.

Mamamia also took home the Best Use of Podcast award last year, with Westpac’s branded The Split, which focused on helping women through separation and divorce.

Subaru’s general manager of marketing, Amanda Leaney, praised the podcast process.

“Collaborating with Mamamia to create an authentic, fun and heartfelt podcast for Australian families has been an incredibly rewarding experience. We’re thrilled with the response from our listeners and we’re delighted to have given them hours of entertainment. A huge thanks also to Andrew Daddo who hosted the series and helped create a wonderful following. At Subaru, our goal is to create moments of joy, and we can’t wait to launch series two to do just that,” she said.

Group business director at Starcom Sydney, Andrew Vaughan, added: “It’s been great to see the positive response the podcast has received from parents and kids, and now the industry. We are excited to work together with Mamamia on series two in 2021.”

Series two is scheduled to be released in time for Easter.
