Triple M Cairns’ ‘Walk Away’ campaign to stamp out alcohol related violence

Triple M Cairns has teamed up with AFL Cairns to push a message about walking away before things get out of hand when you’ve had a few drinks.

It’s a message that isn’t getting through to enough men and women around Australia, with alcohol-related violence still rampant.

After two recent deaths in the community, Triple M Cairns is asking you to walk away before things turn violent.

“Over the last few years, we’ve lost brothers and sisters to something that’s avoidable. One punch can kill,” says Elliott Lovejoy in the campaign video.

“If you find yourself in a situation that is escalating to violence, we’re asking you to walk away.”
