Triple M Sydney whips out 70s playlist to celebrate vaccine milestone

New South Wales has reportedly reached a milestone, with over 70% of the eligible population receiving at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

In celebration of the occasion, Triple M in Sydney will today focus on the 1970s.

From this morning’s Moonman in the Morning to this evening’s highlights from The Marty Sheargold Show, the playlist will include the likes of Queen, Led Zeppelin , Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John and the Rolling Stones.

Triple M’s content director for Sydney, Rex Morris, said: “We’re not ones to preach to our audience, but we’ll be more than happy to share how excited we are about being a step closer to seeing our mates, extended family and… going to the pub.”
